Furdiburb in Amazon Appstore

Furdiburb, the virtual pet, is now available in the Amazon Appstore for Android.

Fans have been asking for a Kindle version for a while. We wanted to do it right and fully integrate into the Amazon ecosystem.

Furdiburb is a baby alien whose parents accidentally left him behind on Earth while vacationing one day. Players can adopt him and figure out how to hatch him, feed him, bathe him, and cure him when he is sick. Players can also customize their virtual pet with mutations, grow him to adulthood, renovate his house, and choose different furniture.

Beyond the virtual pet aspects, players earn credits by star surfing and resting on planets, growing pretty flowers from seeds, and crafting items by experimenting at The Factory. There are other fun activities such as fishing, playing challenging musical games, and dodging bugs in order to collect fireflies.

The storyline in the game involves Furdiburb finding a broken spaceship and fixing it up by helping the inhabitants of the Earth with their problems. The quests involve helping a nightingale find her song, solving a mole problem for farmers, lighting a dark cave for a butterfly that cannot see, etc.

Now with its availability in the Amazon Appstore, Kindle device owners can experience the virtual pet, the adventure, and help send Furdiburb home. Furdiburb is available for download in the Amazon Appstore for free.

"I can't wait for Kindle users to have access to Furdiburb," remarked Danny Ata, lead artist. "There are so many things to be discovered, and so many adventures to be had!"

Lead developer Chad Ata commented, "Fans have been asking for a Kindle version for a while. We wanted to do it right and fully integrate into the Amazon ecosystem, so we took the time to add 14 GameCircle achievements. Whispersync support was also added so that users never have to worry about moving their save state from one Amazon device to another. We hope the fans love this Furdiburb build as much as we do!"
