In the next update, Furdiburb fans will be elated to discover that they can fully repair the spaceship and finally send their alien virtual pet home.

Finally! After three grueling years, the most popular virtual pet game in the Google Play Store, Furdiburb®, will be out of beta this winter. Three years ago, Furdiburb's parents accidentally left him behind on Earth for players to adopt and care for their little alien. Over the years, Sheado.net released updates with puzzles, mini-games, and many spaceship parts for players to gather in order to fix up a broken spaceship in hopes of returning their pet home one day.

"We wanted to keep the game in beta until we gave players the ability to send Furdiburb back to his/her home planet," remarked Chad Ata, developer. "In the next update, Furdiburb fans will be elated to discover that they can fully repair the spaceship and finally send their alien virtual pet home."

The adventure aspect of the game requires users to solves puzzles and play mini-games in order to collect spaceship parts. Gameplay so far includes fishing, star jumping, bug dodging, farming, music mini-games, and object manipulation puzzles. In the next update, Furdiburb version 1.0 will add a few new scenes and a new puzzle for the final spaceship part. It involves a cryptic totem and mysterious spirits that the player will have to interact with. The developers, equally cryptic and mysterious, are keeping the rest of the details a secret.

The evolution of Furdiburb has been quite a challenge for the three developers at Sheado.net. For the first two years all three developers were working part-time on the virtual pet project as they were figuring out how to quit their jobs or reorganize their lives in order to accommodate the lifestyle of scrappy indie game developers.

"We love working for ourselves. Best of all we have complete creative control over our project!" exclaimed Alice Lo, developer and composer. "We hope to keep doing this for years to come and to continue creating unique and innovative games like Furdiburb."
