Exclusive Record Store Day Titles Manufactured by Furnace MFG

As a former record store owner myself, I am extremely excited to do anything I can to help independent retail stores.

The third annual Record Store Day is being held across the country on Saturday, April 17th. Record Store Day celebrates the unique culture of the over 700 independently owned record stores in the US and hundreds of similar stores internationally.

Special vinyl record releases are made exclusively for this day and these products are not available anywhere besides your local record store. Furnace MFG is proud to participate in this annual event and proud to have been chosen by music labels who want to issue special Record Store Day exclusive releases. Some of the highlight titles include:

Devo – Fresh/What We Do 12”
Devo – Duty Now For The Future LP
Devo/Black Keys – split 7”
Mastadon – Blood Mountain (1LP and 2xLP sets)
The Flaming Lips and Stardeath And White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins And Peaches - Dark Side of the Moon LP
Black Keys – Tighten Up/Howlin 12”
Muse – Exogenesis Symphony (Parts 1-3) 12”
Wilco – Kicking Television 4 LP Box Set
American Bang 7”
Against Me – I Was A Teenage Anarchist 7”
Everest “Let Go” 7”

Furnace MFG was able to go from test press approval to finished product in less than 20 days for most of these projects. Within a span of 4 weeks, 55,000 records were manufactured, packaged, and shipped.

Says Eric Astor, CEO of Furnace MFG, “As a former record store owner myself, I am extremely excited to do anything I can to help independent retail stores. I practically lived in my local record stores while growing up. That’s where I learned about new bands, met new friends and learned a little about life. Those experiences shaped who I am today and certainly influenced my decision to start Furnace MFG - helping independent artists put out their music”

Furnace MFG has become the trusted source for vinyl manufacturing for large labels as well as reissue and independent labels. Customers know they can count on Furnace to deliver high quality vinyl record products on schedule and within tight deadlines.
