Multi-award winning Composer Chance Thomas to Give Keynote at GameSoundCon San Francisco, Conference on Game Music and Game Sound Design

GameSoundCon is proud to announce that multi-award winning composer Chance Thomas will present the Keynote Address at GameSoundCon 2009 San Francisco. Chance is currently working on scoring the videogame for James Cameron's upcoming science fiction thriller, Avatar. GameSoundCon, the pro audio industry's premier conference on video game music and video game sound design will be held on November 13 and 14 at Pyramind in San Francisco, CA.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 21, 2009 -- GameSoundCon, LLC announced today that multiple award winning film and game composer, Chance Thomas will present the Keynote Address at GameSoundCon 2009 SF, to be held on November 13 and 14 at Pyramind in San Francisco, CA. Chance's game and non-game work has been honored by the Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards, Addy Awards, Aurora Awards, GANG Awards and many others. He has just wrapped production on the videogame score for James Cameron's upcoming science fiction thriller, Avatar.

GameSoundCon also features two full days of Rock Band Network Training. MTV Games' Harmonix Music Systems, the developers of the Rock Band video game, will present two days of instruction on using the custom tools that allow you to make your own original songs into playable Rock Band files and publish them for sale on the Rock Band Network. Songs on the Rock Band Network can be downloaded and played by millions of Rock Band gamers.
