In his latest blog post, John announces that those who pre-purchased Battlefield 3: Premium can now access Close Quarters.

“For those of you who don’t already know, Close Quarters is a large 4 map, DLC for Battlefield 3 that focuses more on indoor battle, thus the name, ‘Close Quarters’” he says.

He goes on to explain that Battlefield 3 costs $50 and comes bundled with both Back to Karkand and Close Quarters.

However, he explains that those who already bought Battlefield 3 currently have the Back to Karkand expansion and would be crazy to pay for it again.

“So we have to wait another two weeks before we’re allowed to play it. That blows” he adds.

Saying that, he explains that some Battlefield fans went out and bought it anyway, just to give themselves an advantage over other players.

“Not to contradict myself, but it does include all of the next dlc’s (3 more) if you buy premium so it would kind of make sense for the BF3 freaks to buy it” he explains.

Finally, to conclude his latest blog post, John shares a link for those who may want to go and buy it anyway.
