The Handyguys Launch New Video Podcast, Show-Off Studio Provided by RedLine Garagegear

The Handyguys' new studio is all set up!

In 2008 close friends Paul Shane and Brian Peppel (collectively known as ‘the Handyguys’) started the Handyguys Podcast . The idea behind their show was to tackle items on their honey-do-list while also dispensing nuggets of knowledge to their listeners. In the four years since first going on air their honey-do-lists have grown longer, the number of subscribers to their show has consistently increased, and most recently they made the jump from just audio to video.

“While doing audio was a ton of fun we knew our listeners would get even more value out of video,” said Handyguy Paul. “Most people find it a lot easier to be shown how an installation job is done or how to do maintenance on their lawn mower/tractor. Being able to look over-the-shoulder will be a richer experience we think.”

Last year the pair began bringing together the pieces necessary to make the big leap. While the transformation from recording just audio to doing video may sound simple enough it is actually quite the undertaking. In order to be effective the show would need a set/work area/desk, high definition cameras, lighting, and a host of other things. The Handyguys turned to RedLine Garagegear for assistance with a set that would need to be multi-functional.

The Handyguys worked with RedLine Garagegear President, Troy Greenberg, to come up with a design for their set using the powder coated wood garage cabinets the company manufactures. Paul and Brian recently released a promotional video to introduce RedLine to their audience. In the video they give a tour of their new set, talk about the importance of organizing the garage, and also discuss the features and benefits of the garage storage systems provided by RedLine.

RedLine Garagegear is the child company of Greenberg Casework Company Inc. Nearly three decades ago Greenberg Casework Company began manufacturing custom cabinetry and casework for hospitals, schools, department stores, and a variety of other industries. The company expanded into the consumer market by offering powder coated wood garage cabinets to homeowners about ten years ago. Greenberg Casework Company also offers its powder coated wood services through child company GCC Coatings.
