"Cheating and lying is not good enough to break up" says gay matchmaker and gay life coach Paul Angelo MHA, MBA. "And if your friends are telling you to dump your boyfriend - dump your friends and keep your boyfriend" adds Angelo.
"The worlds number one love killer is lack of compatibility in relationships and GLSE or Gay Low Self Esteem. It goes undetected for years causing frustrations, anxieties and ultimately a breakup." says Angelo.
Angelo suggests that every gay couple gets tested for compatibility, which is part of Angelo's "Quantum Lovers" couples therapy program.
Angelo's new gay couples therapy offers an alternative to gay couples therapy that can take a long time and become expensive. Angelo's 90 day couples program called "Quantum Lovers" uses a directive coaching approach that is used in executive coaching and high performance coaching for business owners and executives.

Based on Angelo's work - every gay man who cheats and lies - does it because he has low self esteem and not because he wants to hurt his lover. "It is a ridiculous myth that relationships should end when one person makes a mistake, lies about something or has an affair." says Angelo.
According to Angelo, there is a "breakup" epidemic in the gay community stemming from low self esteem and from lack of education about human nature and psychology. "Most gay men will choose to end the relationship, rather than resolve the conflict and understand the differences." says Angelo.
According to Angelo, gay couples therapy is often misunderstood. Typically, when a gay couple has a problem, a therapist looks into the dynamic of the relationship and gives advice about how to improve it. Rarely a therapist looks into the question about whether the couple should be together to begin with based on their compatibility. Each person might be perfectly fine, just not compatible with the other - and in such case therapy is not going to solve anything but contribute to life long extended complications and struggle.
Based on Angelo's program, when a gay couple is in trouble, the first thing to do is to check for compatibility and GLSE (Gay Low Self Esteem). In some cases the two men should never have entered into a relationship but for reasons related to low self esteem the two men bonded together and now refer to the bond as love. In such case, compatibility testing would identify the reasons why they entered into the relationship and give a more pragmatic solution to the troubles they experience.
Relationship coaching and couples therapy has been around for decades, so why should Angelo's advice be any different?
Angelo's program "Quantum Lovers" is a 90 day program that starts with a compatibility test, self esteem analysis, communications test, cognitive behavioral therapy and a relationship certification. At the end, the couple gets certified to be in the right relationship for the right reasons.
"Such comprehensive approach in such a short amount of time unmasks the core reason for couple's frustrations and presents a solution without the need for years of therapy and thousands of dollars spent. Because much of the work is done on the phone and in a journal, commitment and willingness to learn is required." says Angelo.
