Serving in the military requires both physical and mental discipline and strength, skills that can benefit them in a variety of careers and professions. After serving, if military personnel are interested in pursuing a career in personal training and fitness, the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Program is now approved for GI Bill reimbursement by the Department of Veteran Affairs.
NESTA’s Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Program, which consist of video lectures and an interactive, digital manual, is 100 percent online and self-paced. In addition, the program includes business advice on establishing, marketing and succeeding in the fitness industry, which continues to outpace most industries in terms of both short- and long-term job growth.
“At NESTA, we truly salute the brave men and women who serve every day in the United States Armed Forces and thank you for your service,” said John Spencer Ellis, founder of NESTA and John Spencer Ellis Enterprises, a leading national fitness and personal development solutions company. “We are very pleased to now offer military personnel the ability to earn a Personal Fitness Trainer Certification through our tuition reimbursement program, which they can complete online at their own pace.”
