gia World are pleased to announce that U.S.-based The Home Depot® has been named this year's gia World honoree, recognizing excellence in multi-national housewares retailing. gia World is part of the International Home & Housewares Show's Global Innovator Award (gia) program that honors retailing excellence around the world.
The Home Depot will be presented with the award at an invitation-only gala in Chicago the evening of March 11 during the Show. In addition, the winners of 23 country-specific gia programs will be honored at the same gala for their achievements.
The Home Depot was voted gia World honoree by a distinguished panel of global retail experts on the basis of its superior operations performance, business innovation, product breadth and contributions to the communities in which it does business.
