Nike Softball Camps Announce 2012 Summer Softball Camp For Girls Age 9-18 At The Charlotte Latin School In North Carolina

Nike Softball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 and is pleased to announce its latest day camp addition at Charlotte Latin School, July 9-13, to the 2012 Nike Softball Camp schedule.

The Charlotte Latin School, a college preparatory day school, encompasses 122 acres in southeast Charlotte. Campers train daily on the home softball diamond and adjacent baseball diamond if needed.

Interscholastic athletics has a long and rich tradition at Charlotte Latin School. Throughout its 41-year history, our students have proven they can compete on the playing field, as well as in the classroom. Along with the many conference and state titles earned over the years, the School has always placed a premium on the values instilled and the lessons learned from athletic competition.

Directing the Nike Softball Camp at the Charlotte Late School in North Carolina is coaching legend Eric Smith. Coach Eric Smith is entering his fifth season as the head of the Varsity Softball program at Charlotte Latin School. During the previous four seasons, the Hawks have won a CISAA conference championship and finished in the top three in the state tournament each of the last three years. The Hawks softball program has also produced 17 All-Conference players and 6 All-State selections in the last four years.

Nike Softball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
