Partnership Will Generate Average Donation of $2,200 When Buyers or Sellers of Residential Real Estate Designate Make-A-Wish® Colorado as Recipient

Granting the true, heartfelt wish of a child facing a life-threatening medical condition would not be possible without the partnership of people like Rick Avery, founder of The Giving Back Group.

The Giving Back Group and the Make-A-Wish Colorado are pleased to announce a new marketing partnership. The alliance is designed to generate donations that can be used to help grant the wishes of children in Colorado with life threatening illnesses. Whenever the Giving Back Group represents a buyer or a seller in a residential real estate transaction, 20% of the commission earned from that transaction is made to their client’s favorite charity. The Giving Back Group makes the donation in the buyer or seller’s name at absolutely no cost to them. Donations can be made to Make-A-Wish Colorado or to any other qualifying charity or nonprofit.

Giving Back Group founder Rick Avery is excited about the new partnership. “I am thrilled to have the chance to partner with Make-A-Wish Colorado. I have seen first hand what this tremendous organization does in bringing joy and hope to children who are seriously ill. Their work is nothing short of magical and I can’t wait to have the chance to make a donation on behalf of one of my clients. Businesses have an obligation to “give back” to their community and I am pleased our business model allows us to grant wishes without costing our clients a penny. Partnerships like this are a great opportunity for businesses and charitable organizations to work together. We expect this partnership will be a tremendous success.”

Joan Mazak, President and C.E.O., Make-A-Wish Colorado sees a great fit for the two organizations. “From our very beginnings, Make-A-Wish Colorado was a grassroots, collaborative movement based on inspiration and the impact a wish can create for a child, their family, and the community. Granting the true, heartfelt wish of a child facing a life-threatening medical condition would not be possible without the partnership of people like Rick Avery, founder of The Giving Back Group. Rick understands that wishes matter, and we thank him for sharing the power of a wish®.”
