The conservatory market in the UK has been struggling for a number of years, but Conservatory Outlet has continued to expand through developing new contemporary conservatory designs, such as the new Ultraframe Veranda Conservatory design.

"We have embraced the internet in a massive way, and see online marketing as the future of our busines", says Matthew Glover, the Managing Director.

Since 2004, the UK conservatory industry has been in decline with sales of traditional uPVC conservatories falling from around 270,000 units per year at the peak to less than 100,000 this year. Many companies have struggled to continue trading and the recession has made it very difficult for any company selling big ticket items.

Despite this, there are a number of companies in the UK conservatory and double glazing industry who have prospered, partly due to their ability to adapt and develop new products.

One of these companies, Conservatory Outlet, in Wakefield, West Yorkshire has grown year on year for the past five years. Over the last two years the company has grown 50% during very difficult conditions for many of their competitors.

"We have embraced the internet in a massive way, and see online marketing as the future of our busines," says Matthew Glover, the Managing Director. "We're also pioneeering the development of new conservatory designs, such as our affordable orangeries and our new range of glass extensions".

The new Glass Extension design takes advantage of Ultraframe's new Veranda conservatory roof system, which has an overhanging roof which gives the British homeowner the opportunity to enjoy their conservatory whatever the weather.

A Glass House from Conservatory Outlet does not need to be an expensive addition to your home. "I've recently added one of the first Veranda-style conservatories to my own home and it was very cost effective" says Matthew. "In fact, our neighbours can't believe how much we paid!"

Conservatory Outlet are manufacturers of uPVC windows, doors and conservatories based in the Yorkshire region, but have a network of installers covering most of the North of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and are now expaning into the Midlands and the South East of England.
