GL Communications Inc. announced today the release of T1 E1 Analyzer Software Version 6.14. Addressing the media, Mr. Vijay Kulkarni, CEO of the company said, "Our T1 E1 Analysis suite of products continue to provide the most comprehensive analysis and emulation capability of any product on the market. He continued with some of the major applications, “Multi-Link Frame Relay Emulator – Frame Relay and Multi-Link Frame Relay can be emulated on up to 16 T1 E1 lines using GL’s client-server based MFR Emulator GUI or command line scripts.
Inverse Multiplexing over ATM (IMA) Emulator - Inverse Multiplexing over ATM (IMA) can be emulated on up to 16 T1/E1 lines using GL’s optional client-server based IMA Emulator software module.
Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) Emulator - GL’s MAPS™ CAS (Channel Associated Signaling) Emulator is an advanced protocol simulator for simulating CAS signaling over TDM (T1 E1). MAPS™ CAS automates the testing procedure with the ready scripts on single, multiple, or all timeslots. Calls are established, once the signaling information such as the signaling bits, MF, DTMF, or tones are detected. All CAS protocols, including wink-start, loop-start, ground start, R1, MFC-R2, etc. are supported, including custom CAS protocols.
Mobile Application Part (MAP) Emulator - GL’s MAPS™ MAP (Mobile Application Part) Emulator is an advanced protocol simulator to simulate MAP signaling over D & H interfaces in GSM/UMTS networks as defined by 3GPP standards.
Multi-Link Point-to-Point Protocol (MLPPP) Emulator - GL’s MAPS™ MLPPP Emulator is an advanced protocol simulator for PPP and MLPPP simulation over TDM (T1 E1 lines). Ready scripts are capable of generating and receiving MC-MLPPP/PPP traffic (with or without impairments), perfect for automating the test and regression procedures.
Fax Decoder/Demodulator (FaxDD)
Fax Decoder/Demodulator, an optional module within VBA, can be used to decode both 2-wire and 4-wire voice band captures to produce the Fax TIF images and corresponding signaling information. Fax Decoder/Demodulator is also available through command line.
Another version of this application is, FaxDDT38, designed for decoding IP captures and is a command line or batch file based application. FaxDDT38 converts a PCAP file, the output of packet captures such as from GL’s PacketScan™ or other third party IP capturing tools such as Wireshark, into TIFF-F files containing the fax image. It also provides analysis of T.38 packets, T.30 frames, and general call-flow indicators.”
Mr. Kulkarni further added, “There are enhancements introduced to our existing applications and to name a few: Call Capture and Analysis (CCA), Call Data Records (CDR) , ISDN Analyzer, protocol analyzers and Error Insertion, Capture Dialed Digits and more and the addition of the new applications and the enhancements to the existing applications of the T1 E1 Analyzer product suite enhances significantly the user experience and adds value to the T1 E1 testing needs of the customers.”
