Gaithersburg, Maryland (PRWEB) May 30, 2013
GL Communications Inc. a leader in providing PC-based test, analysis and simulation products and consulting services to the worldwide telecommunications industry, announced today its enhanced Satellite Channel Test, Simulation and Measurement software.
Speaking to media persons, Mr. Vijay Kulkarni CEO of the company said, “GL offers test tools to analyze and simulate satellite channels across various interfaces. These include Analog 2-Wire, Analog 4-Wire, T1, E1, IP, T3, E3, OC3 / STM1, and OC12 / STM4. Applications include: Testing GSM backhaul over satellite, BER testing across all satellite gateway interfaces, Satellite delay and error simulation, Voice quality testing, Round-trip and one way delay measurement, Echo simulation and echo cancellation testing.”
He added, “The user can simulate propagation delay across many interfaces and errors can also be simulated. The enhanced software provides capability to measure propagation delay that of one way digital delay with microsecond accuracy and the user can plot satellite delay variation with time. With the help of GL’s T1 E1 Analyzer echo can be simulated with analog interfaces as well. Even user can measure clock draft as function of time.”
