…escape from the destruction and restart their lives to make things in the right way, with love and respect.

In the new Spanish-language collection of poetry and prose “Despues Llegara La Calma” (published by AuthorHouse), author Gleyder A. Dominquez offers to readers a possible path away from confusion, into the light of belief and the stability he believes is found in a sure faith in Jesus Christ.

Using a combination of both prose and poetry to get his point across, Dominquez hopes his readers will tap into a deeper level of engagement with the text. The more emotional content of poetry, he hopes, will allow readers to connect with his ideas more personally.

An excerpt from “Despues Llegara La Calma”:

“Lights that shine on high, loneliness But my heart, eyes that see me.
Fellow Eternals?
Moon so close that I can almost touch, most would keep you in my thoughts;
as you have always been: Bastion where I keep my emotions, losses in
sea of disappointments.
Do not you have mercy on me? while not so much look at you my eyes wander in despair
and disappointment, wandering aimlessly?
Please tell me tell me what you feel? As I will tell you what I feel. although
my words could not express my pain.”

Dominquez hopes that readers, upon finishing “Despues Llegara La Calma,” will find a sense of peace. He hopes that readers will be able, like he himself was, to “…escape from the destruction and restart their lives to make things in the right way, with love and respect.”
