Global Crane Sales is exhibiting the Zoomlion RT55, one of the new Zoomlion rough terrain cranes made exclusively for the Western market, at Vertikal Days, June 16 and 17, 2010. Vertikal Days is the UK’s largest event dedicated to all types of lifting equipment, including cranes, access platforms, mobile access towers, and telehandlers. It is being held at Haydock Park Racecourse, in Newton Le Willows, Merseyside.
The RT55, a rough terrain crane with a maximum lift capacity of 60 tons, is engineered to have the maximum capacity at radius for its weight class. It is also specially built by Zoomlion to have equal or superior construction, features, and equipment to competing cranes. The RT55 is one of four new rough terrain cranes produced by Zoomlion. The remaining cranes, the RT35 (40 ton), the RT 75 (80 ton), and the RT100 (110 ton), will debut later this year. Global will be the distributor for each of these Zoomlion rough terrain cranes.
Though Global exhibited the RT55 at the giant BAUMA trade show in April, travel interference due to Icelandic volcanic ash diminished attendance. For many, both in the industry and interested onlookers, Vertikal Days offers the first opportunity to see the revolutionary RT55.
