Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) June 11, 2013
At its recent meeting at InfoComm in Orlando, the Global Presence Alliance (GPA) revealed results of its inaugural Global Excellence Awards program, which recognizes the leading manufacturers committed to delivering a superior customer experience. The GPA surveyed all of its members around the World to rate vendors on their product innovation, sales and marketing programs and customer service.
The GPA has expanded to 18 organizations across five continents servicing thousands of enterprise customers worldwide. The survey results recognized Crestron, AMX, Biamp, Chief, NEC, Extron and Polycom as best in class for supporting their customers with locations in multiple countries. The survey, which gathered perspective from executive, sales and engineering ranks across the GPA membership, revealed these seven companies had achieved a new benchmark for excellence in supporting the needs of multi-national customers and the Global Presence Alliance members who serve them.
“Our survey comprised a series of in depth questions, which covered all of the key areas that impact our customers and our ability to provide them the best possible service,” explains Julian Phillips, Vice President of Whitlock and one of the founders of the GPA. “We are using this data to bring attention to some important achievements as well as some of the critical areas of improvement needed for setting global standards and delivering great customer value for unified communications and audiovisual services.”
Julian Phillips who also serves as a board member for InfoComm, commented further, “We are really excited that just as InfoComm is setting the benchmark for industry standards around the World, the GPA has started to define what excellence in customer service for global customers looks like. We believe this survey will become recognized by our members and our manufacturer partners as a bellwether for years to come.”
