On March 5, 2010, Zoomlion and Global Crane Sales agreed to partner in distributing Zoomlion Rough Terrain cranes worldwide. Global is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and has sales and distribution offices worldwide.

This partnership marks the first time Zoomlion, one of the largest Chinese crane manufacturers, has engineered and built Rough Terrain cranes for the Western markets. Zoomlion has created four Rough Terrain cranes. Their line consists of the RT35 (40 ton maximum capacity), RT55 (60 ton), RT75 (80 ton) and RT100 (110 ton). Global will also be distributing several Zoomlion Tower Cranes , newly created for the American market.

These cranes were specially designed for worldwide distribution. Zoomlion’s new line of rough terrain cranes has equal or superior construction, features, and equipment to competing cranes.

Interested buyers will be able to take delivery of these cranes in mid-July, 2010. Global is currently exhibiting the ZL RT55, a rough terrain crane with a 55 ton capacity, at bauma, the 29th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, in Munich, from April 19-25.
