Our goal with this forum is to unlock export potential in every business -- Laurel Delaney, President, Global TradeSource, Ltd.

While total U.S. exports reached $2.3 trillion in 2013, only 1 percent of all U.S. companies currently exports goods or services. Exporting helps businesses compete globally and reach higher levels of profitability. Global TradeSource, Ltd. invites startups, entrepreneurs and small business owners to learn the secrets to financial global success at a one-of-a-kind forum with the theme "Up Your Global Game" at the historic Navy Pier in downtown Chicago on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.

The Global Small Business Forum will inspire attendees to get out of their own backyards and transition from local, regional or niche-market players into global titans. Event attendees will gain the knowledge and insights they need to market, sell and fulfill orders internationally by taking full advantage of the Internet and the opportunities it creates. Attendees will be able to boost their revenues by learning how to expand beyond borders.

“In a world where speed and agility are everything, waiting to export to grow your business isn’t an option,” says Laurel Delaney, founder, GSBB Media, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Global TradeSource, Ltd. “This forum will take the mystery out of exporting and provide entrepreneurs and small business owners a whole new way of doing business with the world. Our goal with this forum is to unlock export potential in every business."

The daylong forum will encourage participants to share challenges, strategies and experience with other successful exporters from all over the world, as well as learn from three interactive panel discussions and two keynote speakers. Participants will also have a chance to network, get to know their peers and make new connections.

“We’re continuously looking for new ways to build lasting connections between local business owners and the city’s many resources,” says forum Bronze sponsor Linda Bi, president of Chicago Expert Importers. “The Global Small Business Forum provides startups, entrepreneurs and small business owners with the information they need to transform their businesses into global powerhouses.”

Adds Shea Felix, Global Product Marketing Manager, with Endicia and also Bronze sponsor to the Forum: “We at Endicia are honored to support the startups, entrepreneurs and small business owners who represent the economic engine behind our country’s growth and have become an inspiration to us all on global growth activity.”

The forum will be held Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, in the Festival Hall at Navy Pier. To register, visit: http://www.globalsmallbusinessforum.com. Registration is limited and will sell out quickly.
