“Living with celiac disease can be very difficult, especially in social settings. It is so exciting to see sports, gluten free food, awareness and fundraising all at these exciting nationwide events!” said Chandice Probst, CEO Gluten Free Calendar
Gilbert, Arizona (PRWEB) September 13, 2012
Gluten Free Calendar is the premier website for finding every gluten free event around the nation from support groups, expos and in-store demos to celiac awareness events.
Gluten Free Calendar will play host to a tour of nationwide gluten free and celiac awareness events. Game ticket sales from the events will raise proceeds for gluten free and celiac non-profit organizations and celiac research centers. “Living with celiac disease can be very difficult, especially in social settings. We wanted to combine America’s favorite past times, sports and food to accommodate those living gluten free. It is so exciting to see sports, gluten free food, awareness and fundraising all at these exciting nationwide events!” said Chandice Probst, CEO and Director of Events for Gluten Free Calendar.
The baseball series of events will conclude for the season with the Gluten Free and Celiac Awareness Night with the Chicago Whitesox on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 6:10 pm. Discounted tickets for the game are available at glutenfreecalendar.com.
The Gluten Free Calendar pre-game party, which is free to the public whether attending the ball game or not, will be taking place from 2-4:30 pm at Bacardi at the Park, located right on site to the U.S. Cellular Field. With many local and nationwide gluten free vendors sampling and selling their amazing products as well as music, tons of raffles and even the opportunity to win upgraded seats to the game, this is going to be a party you don’t want to miss! Gluten Free Calendar works hard to connect special guests from the gluten free community with the attendees through these pre-game parties. Special guests for this event include world-renowned doctor, Stefano Guandalini of the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center, the non-profit organization that Gluten Free Calendar has designated as the beneficiary to the proceeds raised from game ticket sales. Stasie John, author of the popular children’s book, The Gluten Glitch and Ieatdifferent.com, will also be joining us as a special guest. Attendees will be able to visit with these two influential individuals one on one.
These events will give individuals living with gluten free the opportunity to make new friends and accommodating vendors both local and nationwide. The basketball series of events will begin in November with the San Antonio Spurs.
