This fundraiser will help the Celiac Disease Foundation provide full and partial scholarships for a number of children to attend an activity-filled summer camp that’s 100% gluten-free and dedicated to their dietary needs.

Gluten-Free Saver, a niche deal site that’s customized for gluten-free consumers, has embraced the giving spirit of the holiday season. This week, Gluten-Free Saver is hosting a unique, online fundraiser dedicated to raising money to send 7-15 year-old children with gluten intolerance and celiac disease to a gluten-free summer camp in Southern California next summer.
Keeping with the theme of offering deep discounts for gluten-free consumers, Gluten-Free Saver has partnered with Van’s Natural Foods, the premier gluten-free breakfast and waffle company, to offer a “discount” on donations.
From Monday, December 19th to Sunday, December 25th, when individuals donate just $2.00 (or more), Van’s Natural Foods will match all contributions until the community raises $1,000. The goal for the one-week fundraiser is to raise $2,000, which will help to sponsor a number of children to attend a gluten-free summer camp in July 2012. To help reach the fundraising goal, visit the Gluten-Free Saver website and click ‘Buy’ to donate.
“At Gluten-Free Saver, we strongly support all non-profits that help to educate and advance the awareness of living gluten-free,” says Chad Hines, Co-Founder of Gluten-Free Saver. “This fundraiser will help the Celiac Disease Foundation provide full and partial scholarships for a number of children to attend an activity-filled summer camp that’s 100% gluten-free and dedicated to their dietary needs.”
The Celiac Disease Foundation (CDF), a nationally recognized non-profit organization based in Studio City, California, is a leader in education, information and awareness for celiac disease. The CDF sponsored gluten-free summer camp will be held at Camp Fire USA Camp Nawakwa, located in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California.
