Floriade World Horticulture Show, a once-a-decade celebration of botany, agriculture, music, dance and culture held in the small Dutch town of Venlo.

Due to the success of past garden tours, Go Ahead is continuing the garden tour tradition with Amsterdam, Luxembourg & Brussels with Floriade World Horticulture Show, a once-a-decade celebration of botany, agriculture, music, dance and culture held in the small Dutch town of Venlo. In May 2009, Go Ahead Tours unveiled its first flower and garden tour of Amsterdam & the Keukenhof Gardens, an itinerary designed to celebrate the tulips of Holland at the world’s largest garden. This flower tour was an immediate success, so a year later, Go Ahead introduced London, Paris & the Chelsea Flower Show.
Floriade is a unique festival covering more than 100 acres of rolling Dutch fields and forests. Convened just once every ten years, Floriade showcases advancements in relaxation, education and sustainability alongside the eclectic shows held on the World Show Stage. A total of 900 performances are scheduled during the festival’s seven-month run, and each day promises a new way to discover the beauty of Holland’s blooms.
According to Lynne Sarao, Go Ahead’s director of marketing, "Our travelers continue to express a desire to immerse themselves in cultural experiences such as festivals and local events. Our garden tours of Keukenhof have been some of our traverlers’ favorite vacations, and following the success of our Chelsea Flower Show departure last year, we decided that Floriade’s once-every-ten-years schedule was an experience our customers would want to be a part of.”
