Brian Domitrovic, Ph.D. has been appointed as an advisor to TheGoldStandardNow.org, a project of The Lehrman Institute. Institute founder and chairman Lewis E. Brian Domitrovic holds a Ph.D. in history from Harvard University, where he also did graduate work in the economics department. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Columbia University, studying history and mathematics. An assistant professor at Sam Houston State University, he has written for numerous scholarly and popular publications, including a weekly column in Forbes.com. He is the author of Econoclasts: the Rebels Who Sparked the Supply-Side Revolution and Restored American Prosperity.
In a recent post on TheGoldStandardNow.org Prof. Domitrovic stated “When the US was closest to being on a full gold standard, (it was) the greatest decade of real economic growth in the nation’s history.”
