David Leadbetter Golf announced today the re-opening of three David Leadbetter Golf Academy locations for the 2007 summer golf season.

Academies at Red Sky Golf Club in Vail, Colorado; Nemacolin Woodlands in Farmington, Pennsylvania and Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, British Columbia offer golf enthusiasts the opportunity for world-class instruction in a luxurious setting throughout the summer.

Just over an hour from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Nemocolin Woodlands is a four-star resort destination. The Laurel Highlands resort offers 36 holes of golf on two championship courses, including the Pete Dye-designed Mystic Rock, site of the PGA Tour's 84 Lumber Classic.

Located in the picturesque Vail Valley, Red Sky Golf Club is a private membership club that allows access for participants of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Two championship golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman weave their way through 800 acres of ranchlands, and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains surround the property.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is the home of Canada's only David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, the resort features a Robert Trent Jones-designed 18-hole course that winds through the natural terrain of the region.

An instructor for some of the best players in the world, including Ernie Els, Nick Price, Charles Howell III, Trevor Immelman, Ian Poulter, Julieta Granada & Michelle Wie, David Leadbetter created the first David Leadbetter Golf Academy in 1983 to give amateur golfers access to the elite instruction that previously only professionals enjoyed.

Regarded as the premier golf instructor in the world, David Leadbetter has established 30 Golf Academies in 13 countries throughout the world. Each Academy features a variety of instructional programs for adults and juniors, including one to three-day mini schools, retreats, private sessions and corporate events. Each program offers in-depth instruction on short-game and full swing fundamentals, cutting-edge video analysis, and consultation on overall performance improvements.

Programs at each Golf Academy are taught by Certified Instructors who have undergone a comprehensive training program designed and overseen by David Leadbetter at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy World Headquarters at ChampionsGate, Florida. All Instructors undergo a rigorous 12-month certification process, during which they train under Leadbetter and the Worldwide Director of Training and Certification. Instructors must also complete an annual recertification.
