Former Whirlpool key account manager, Gordon Luedtke, of Chicago, recently entered his seventh season on the St. Andrews Golf & Country Club golf league.
Gordon Luedtke began playing on the league in early 2006, since then he has won several awards throughout the 2008-2009 golf season.
“I love golf, it is a great way to unwind and relax with fellow friends,” said Gordon Luedtke.
Gordon Luedtke plays on the league Friday evenings and plans to continue playing on the league in the years to come. He believes golf, a game common among business professionals, is a great way to market oneself and network with others.
“Especially now while I am in the middle of searching for a newer, more challenging position in the business field, golf is a great way for me to connect to others,” Gordon Luedtke said.
The course, where Gordon Luedtke practices and plays once a week, the Joe Jesmek course, is an 18-hole championship track. Prior to league championship games, Gordon Luedtke practices at the driving range. He hopes to win a title award in the current season.
“Like in every aspect of my life, I push myself to my limits. I try to win each game, sometimes I manage, sometimes I don’t. But no matter what, when I step onto the golf course, I always give it my all,” Gordon Luedtke said.
