The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Releases a Live DVD/CD Recording Project
On the occasion of their 88th International Holy Convocation and the official culmination of their Holy Year of Renewal, The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. (COOLJC) releases a live DVD/ CD recording project: "Vintage Apostolic Worship & Praise."
(PRWEB) July 11, 2007 -- The COOLJC Holy Year of Renewal Mass Choir with special guests Presiding Apostle, Bishop James I. Clark, Jr., and Mother Dorothy Anderson, has given all lovers of authentic traditional gospel a true melodic gem: "Vintage Apostolic Worship & Praise."
This is a superb project, a COOLJC Greatest Hits. Recorded live with musicians and singers from across the country in New York City at the Greater Refuge Temple - the Mother Church http://www.greaterrefugetemple.org and COOLJC International Headquarters http://www.cooljc.org on December 16, 2006 - the two-disc package presents a collection of the early original songs of the Pentecostal Apostolic tradition. The energetic, joyous and passionate singing of these Pentecostal classics by the choir, featuring Anderson on the high note track "Over There"; will definitely get your hands clapping, feet patting and dancing for joy. The two fervent solo renditions of songs written by the organization's founder, the late Bishop R. C. Lawson, and performed by Bishop Clark are guaranteed to warm the heart and stir the soul.
The project came about as a collaborative effort on the part of Chief Apostle, Bishop William L. Bonner, Presiding Apostle, Bishop James I. Clark, Jr., the Board of Apostles and the International Cabinet in an effort to acknowledge the distinct honor of a rich and God-inspired inheritance in song that has been handed down by Lawson and other pioneers of the COOLJC. In addition, there was also a desire to commemorate the many positive outcomes, both spiritual and natural, of the vision which Bonner placed before the organization in August of 2005. The Holy Year of Renewal; a time set aside for the COOLJC as a people of God to consecrate and rededicate its gifts and callings to the Lord.
