GradCity Reveals Parent Center – Student Travel Information from Parent’s Perspective

Parents can now leverage information at their fingertips anytime, from anywhere

(PRWEB) September 20, 2006 -- Soon to launch in the fall of 2006, GradCity.com’s Parent Center is designed to give parents more information on the GradCity program from a parent’s perspective. With student’s focus more abundant on the highlights of the trip, GradCity saw the need for a parent section giving more detail-oriented information of GradCity’s student travel program addressing parent’s unique concerns. By contributing a section of the site for the parents, GradCity hopes to alleviate stress and worries during the overall experience.

In the parent section of the Web site, parents will find testimonials from other parents of past travelers relating to a GradCity experience they had or experienced with students. The parent section also includes feedback from parents that have met GradCity Account Executives, the Customer Care Department or have either traveled along on a trip or have students who have traveled with the GradCity.com staff.

Included in the parent center is a section specifically dedicated to safety, one of GradCity’s most focused upon factors in planning affordable student travel vacations. Complete with safety policies and procedures, parents and students are both made aware of the vital role that staff members partake in from the moment students arrive at their student travel destination to their trip home.

“Parents can be involved in as much of the students trip as they’d like, from getting the necessary information regarding GradCity’s student travel program to joining students on the trip,” comments Joe Bush, Vice President of GradCity. GradCity coordinates programs that offer both parents and faculty the necessary accommodations while traveling with the GradCity student travel organization. “Parents can be just as much a part of the GradCity student travel experience as the students, so we make sure to accommodate both the parents and students giving them both the experience they planned for.”

GradCity plans to launch the GradCity Parent Center in Fall 2006 prior to the Winter Break season so parents can get acquainted with the policy and procedures before students start to plan their Winter break trip. For more information regarding GradCity’s new parent center visit GradCity.com.
