Sean Tretta, just as he did with his last movie Death of a Ghost Hunter, has shown why he is one of the most visionary filmmakers working in horror today.
Los Angeles (PRWEB) April 17, 2009
Gravitas Ventures, a licensor and programmer of content across Video On Demand (VOD) platforms, today announced Death Factory Bloodletting, produced and distributed by Maxim Media International, is available to consumers across North American cable, telco, satellite, and Internet VOD platforms including: Amazon VOD, Apple iTunes, AT&T, Charter Communications, DIRECTV on DEMAND, DISH Network Video on Demand and Verizon FiOS.
In Death Factory Bloodletting, Ana Romero has lost all hope. Her daughter was tragically murdered and she is obsessed with finding the person responsible. When a video of her daughters death surfaces on the internet, she tracks it to an underground website know only as the "GOREHOUSE." She poses as an online trader of illegal video material in hopes of finding her daughters killer. Her quest takes her into the bowels of humanity and immerses her in a dark and twisted world of pain.
"Death Factory Bloodletting is Saw meets Grindhouse and we are fired-up that horror enthusiasts across North America will have the opportunity to enjoy it," said Nolan Gallagher, founder and CEO of Gravitas Ventures.
"Sean Tretta, just as he did with his last movie Death of a Ghost Hunter, has shown why he is one of the most visionary filmmakers working in horror today." commented Darrin Ramage, President Maxim Media International.
In 2008 Gravitas Ventures released more than 200 films to the cable VOD industry, and is on target to release 250 films in 2009. The company currently aggregates quality independent films specifically for VOD platforms on behalf more than 50 directors, producers and distributors.
