We are gratified by the accolades of our past tour guests and by the fact that every single person wants to join us for another tour.
Sherborn, MA, (PRWEB) January 31, 2012
Great Freedom Adventures announces 2012 northeast USA bike tours and adventure vacations offering sensory-, body- and eco-friendly explorations. The tours provide an insider’s perspective on the naturally and culturally diverse regions and are distinguished by meticulously planned itineraries and by a wealth of unique off-the-bike activities that are included in the tour packages. Trips are carefully timed to walk nature preserves at the height of the Monarch butterfly migration, visit Atlantic Flyway stopovers when songbirds arrive or to enjoy the peak of the fall foliage.
Company founder, Jeanne Rummel, has sleuthed out a working farmstead serving farm-to-table feasts, a lantern-light tour with a local historian, artisanal cheese-making demonstrations, eco-kayak adventures, world-class art collections in unlikely places, sunset sails on a custom trimaran and more that immerse and engage the traveler to open up new worlds.
Previous guests of Great Freedom Adventures seem to appreciate the attention to detail. “We are gratified by the accolades of our past tour guests and by the fact that every single person wants to join us for another tour,” said Rummel.
Vacation packages include upscale accommodations and top-flight restaurants which enhance the flavor and individuality of each location. Lodging, most meals, entrance fees, activities, guides, van support and other region specific costs are included in the tour price. Guests may bring their own bike or rent one at no additional charge. Per person, double occupancy rates range from $795 to $2,695 depending on tour duration, location and season.
Bike tours are designed to be appropriate for all abilities and interests from avid cyclists through non-cyclists, and to allow guests to travel at their own pace with optional daily mileage ranging from eight to 55 or more. Private and corporate trips are available.
