They understand that by collaborating and connecting throughout the year on the risk, technology and business issues as well as convening at The Great Conversation event, they become part of driving this industry to a new level of effectiveness.

The Great Conversation continues on March 6, 2012 as the premier thought leadership forum around risk and security at Bell Harbor Conference Center on the waterfront in Seattle. It is hosted by a local security integrator and professional services organization, Aronson Security Group (ASG) and produced by The Sage Group, a value driver in the security market.

“Unlike other events, this is a connected community of security professionals and business executives”, said Phil Aronson, President of Aronson Security Group. “They understand that by collaborating and connecting throughout the year on the risk, technology and business issues as well as convening at The Great Conversation event, they become part of driving this industry to a new level of effectiveness.”

The Great Conversation is a diverse community of public and private organizations focused on identifying, communicating, and measuring the best practices that drive the mitigation of risk to create highly resilient, adaptable and competitive organizations.

By leveraging regional online forums and physical events to communicate thought leadership around the people, process and technology that drive risk mitigation, organizational resilience and value, The Great Conversation has become a platform and program for the entire security ecosystem.

The Keynote Speakers and topics for The Great Conversation are:

  •     Mike Howard, Chief Security Officer of Microsoft Global Security. He will be speaking on ‘Why the Cloud Changes Everything’
  •     William Raisch, Founder and Director of the International Center for Enterprise Preparedness (InterCEP) and facilitator of the emerging Global Risk Network. He will be speaking on ‘Risk and Reward: Collaborating for Survival & Success’
  •     Dr. Thomas A. Cellucci, Chief Commercialization Officer and Senior Counselor to the Undersecretary for Science and Technology at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He will be speaking on ‘Creating a Force Multiplier in your Security through DHS’

“We have been participating in The Great Conversation for years”, said Mike Howard, CSO of Microsoft. “We are able to communicate our best practices and lessons learned as well as learn from others. The experience is invaluable for my entire team.”

“Today’s global corporations and nation states, for that matter, operate in an increasingly complex and interdependent environment. Collaboration on shared risks is both a necessity and a tremendous opportunity.” said William Raisch, Director of InterCEP. “The Great Conversation online platform and event promises to be a great resource for stakeholders within the risk and security ecosystem to explore the potential force multiplier of collaboration.”

“Knowledge, applied solutions, emerging technology and collaboration these are the kinds of efforts that DHS applauds”, said Dr. Thomas Cellucci. “We will be leveraging this event and this community in many ways.”
