Great Life Software created Great Decisions software for the iPad and iPhone for the purpose of making better decisions. Founder, Ed Ferrigan, has been working with organizations as an organization development consultant and executive coach for over ten years. Finding a way to collaborate as part of the decision making process is essential for good leadership. People or teams need to have a sense of common ground to focus their energy towards a common goal. This latest update of Great Decisions software provides more tools create this sense of collaboration.
Good leadership exudes collaboration amongst team members. Many decisions are made without team involvement and often the result is no collective synergy towards a common goal. The new revision 1.6 of Great Decisions Software adds new features for the iPad and iPhone to enhance ease of use and collaboration in team decision making.
Great Decisions has three different decision making tools in one package which makes it a high return or high value software package. One of the newest features added is having the ability to use an external keyboard for the iPad. Most people would assume this would be default in all OS5 applications but indeed they need to be added separately as a programmed feature.
Another new feature is that users can now plug the iPhone or iPad device into an overhead projector and create a collaborative discussion. Better decisions come form collaborative discussions and save the organization time and money. When the analysis is complete an email summarizing the results can instantly be sent to the group and any others needing to be in on the decisions made.
A third feature and one that has been most in demand is the ability to add attributes to each decision without closing the keyboard. Now users can add or delete as many attributes as needed without closing the keyboard window.
Our commitment as an organization is to make Great Decisions a robust tool that people and teams enjoy using. The concept of having a decision making tool of this nature is deceptively benign until one needs to make a decision or a leader wants more collaboration as a team. By using Great Decisions as a tool you not only create more synergy between team mates but you also create more inquiry around the emotional value of decision making…refining ones ability to make a clearer discernment when comparing attributes in the decision making process.
