Kids Love To® is a series of websites that showcases children's achievements in writing, drawing, crafts, performance, photography, sports, chess, and business. Entries are customized as portfolios for scholastic and professional endeavors or for saving special memories.
The series began with Max Ganik's interest in writing. When Max was 8 years old, he founded 'Max's Young Writers Club'. He was very excited to have his story 'A Bear Driving A Fast Car' published. Max invites other children to publish their writings too. This concept developed into the current Kids Love To ® Write website and, thereafter, to the website series. Max is currently in middle school with an entrepreneurial spirit and a love of baseball. He is a major contributor to the recently launched Collectibles4Baseball online store offering authentic autographed baseball products.
Freelance illustrator, Ana Benaroya, has some of her childhood artwork posted on Kids Love To ® Draw. Ana recently graduated Maryland Institute College of Art. While there, she produced mass amounts of artwork and worked/interned for clients such as DC/Vertigo Comics, ABC World News Tonight, and The Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. She has received awards from American Illustration, Creative Quarterly, Print Magazine, and the Society of Illustrators. Her clients include: The New Yorker, The Stranger, Time Out NY, Computer Arts Projects, Plansponsor, Nickelodeon Magazine, LA Weekly, Planadvisor, SEED, Pretty Empire, Gama-Go, Poetry Magazine, Princeton University Radio, WFMU, and ABC News. Ana illustrated 'A Bear Driving A Fast Car' for the book cover and the Kids Love To ® Write website logo, the 'Clock' for the Kids Love To ® Draw website logo, and the 'Baseball Player' logo for the Collectibles 4 Baseball online store for autographed baseball products.
When Dylan Riley Snyder joined Kids Love To ® Perform, he was playing Young Tarzan on Broadway. In the Fall, Dylan will be playing three lead characters in Horton Foote’s Orphan’s Home Cycle, a series of nine plays performed at the Hartford Stage in Connecticut opening in September and at the Signature Theatre in New York in November. Dylan will also be starring in a film soon to be released, Life During Wartime, written and directed by Todd Solondz. Other achievements can be seen on his website DylanRileySnyder.com. In his off time, as a founding member of Broadway Kids Care, Dylan donates his time and talents in effort to help the homeless children from a community shelter, troops stationed in Iraq, and the residents of the Actor’s Home.
"The Kids Love To ® series complements our other websites offering children's products and services," says Dahlia Benaroya, President, Dahlia Web Designs LLC. Great Kids Corner is an online store for kids furniture, kids play furniture and accessories and decor. The kids furniture focuses on "Themes That Come Alive For Kids". A partnering service is the Recommended Referrals directory listing small businesses that offer children's products and services.
Focusing on children is the common thread across all these websites and services. "By recognizing their efforts and achievements, we give children encouragement and solidify their confidence," states Dahlia. "Recognition is the best motivator. When a child feels that their efforts are appreciated, they work harder to achieve even more." This series is a great stepping stone towards developing an individual website and offers additional opportunity for enhanced visibility.
