Please join us for our Green Living Expo next month in Seymour. Guests will be able to test-drive a Smart Car outside, hear from a number of conservation experts about saving energy at home, and learn about and sample products from various green businesses in Connecticut. There will also be activities for kids, so bring the whole family! The open house will take place November 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at our 40,000-square-foot facility at 28 Progress Avenue in Seymour.
The open house will feature seminars on topics such as solar heating, air sealing, heating and air conditioning, tankless water heating, rates of return on energy investments, and home energy evaluations. Guest speakers will offer valuable information while Smart Car demonstrations take place outside and local vendors offer snacks and samples of products. Paul Roy, First Selectman of Seymour, will be there, as well as the Ansonia Nature Center, National Forest Foundation, Rita’s Ice, Snow Beverages, and Eco Green Solutions. Guests will also receive a free compact fluorescent light bulb just for attending, as well as coupons and other free gifts from vendors.
