“The Donate & Learn concept is simple and pure brilliance! We have all paid a fee to attend marketing workshops and seminars in the past, but the idea of a workshop that is free with a donation supporting such a great cause, is just inspiring.”
John Shehata, ABC News Executive Director of Search & Social Media.
Whether just starting to plan an online marketing strategy, or deep into implementation; the Donate & Learn Expo will provide the knowledge, strategies and networking opportunities needed to improve online marketing results, and take your businesses to the next level!
The Donate & Learn Initiative – the evolution of a simple idea:
“I looked into volunteering my time last year. But with all the needs that exist in our communities; I wanted to find a way to generate a larger effect by using my online marketing skills, as well as my professional and social networks. I shared the idea of doing an educational workshop with all proceeds donated to a local charity, and got nothing but encouragement, support, helpful ideas, and eager volunteers. The Donate and Learn Initiative was born, and is the result of the collaborative work of a multitude of individuals.”
Bassem Ghali, Founder of the Donate & Learn Initiative.
Thanks to the generosity of Donate & Learn sponsors, speakers, media partners and volunteers, Donate & Learn events are provided free of charge to participants. Instead of paying a workshop fee, participants are asked to make a direct donation to the partnering charity. 100% of donations will go to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto Go Girls! and Game On! group programs. Group mentoring programs provide youths with positive guidance, support and encouragement to reach their maximum potential in life!
