Boulder- Colo.-based Renewable Choice Energy announced this week that it will hire three key positions in its newly-expanded Professional Services division. The division is growing to meet demand from international commercial clientele for support with corporate sustainability goals, voluntary and industry-mandated compliance requirements, and increased pressure from stakeholders to measure, reduce and report environmental impacts and reduction measures.
The positions, ranging in focus from environmental engineering to business development, will join a current team of professionals at Renewable Choice delivering a broad spectrum of sustainability consulting and greenhouse gas inventory services. The growing division will expand to offer greater expertise and delivery of services that include life cycle analysis (LCAs), material waste and water conservation, pollution prevention and energy efficiency.
The division complements the company’s long-standing history of leadership in cleantech solutions, renewable energy and carbon offsets. Renewable Choice is known for groundbreaking, award-winning outreach partnerships with corporate clients like Whole Foods Market, Vail Resorts, Best Buy, Burt’s Bees and more.

Director of Business Development: Professional Sustainability Services
This position will be responsible for establishing, directing, and supervising the goals, policies, and work of the division. The position will develop strategies for the deployment of professional services, assign tasks to and supervise the professional services staff, interface with professional services clients and the sales team, identify potential business partners and vendors, develop forecasts, support the management of the professional services sales pipeline, and grow the unit, specifically in the areas of client service & process development, project execution, new product development, and sales.

This position will be responsible for the implementation of sustainability programs for commercial customers including but not limited to responsible sourcing, environmentally preferred purchasing and acquisition, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The Consultant will ensure that projects are managed and completed correctly, on time, and on budget.

This position will be responsible for the implementation of sustainability programs for commercial customers including but not limited to life cycle analyses, material waste/water conservation, pollution prevention, and energy efficiency. The Engineer will ensure that material waste, water conservation, carbon emission reduction and/or energy efficiency projects are managed and completed correctly, on time, and on budget.
