Grosvenor has named Mr. James E. Hyman to the Grosvenor Americas Board of Directors. He will serve as a non-executive director.

Mr. Hyman has more than 25 years of experience in international business leadership, with responsibilities for finance, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring businesses across multiple industries. Until its 2010 sale, Mr. Hyman was Chairman, President, CEO, and a Director of Houston-based Cornell Companies, Inc., a provider of corrections, education, rehabilitation and treatment services for adults and youth.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hyman held executive positions with FTI Palladium Partners, Sandhurst Capital, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, GE Capital Services, Sequa Corporation, McKinsey & Company, and JP Morgan. He chairs the non-profit Mega-Cities Project, focused on urban development issues in the world’s largest cities. A citizen of both the U.S. and the U.K., Mr. Hyman received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and an AB with honors from The University of Chicago.
