Grunergy Technologies PLC is pleased to announce the addition of its first Business Development Directors. Our West Coast representative, Matt Day will be focused on business development and growth initiatives for Grunergy Technologies USA Inc., operating from San Francisco.
Matt has served in the field of Business Development for companies such as BCSI, 24/7 Real Media, Inc. He began his career as as a Business Development representative at Cybereps, Inc., San Francisco.
A graduate from the University of Northern Iowa, Matt holds a B.A. degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Marketing Research. Matt brings a great deal of experience and customer relations ability to the Grunergy Team, establishing our presence on the West coast as we continue our fast paced growth in the utility emissions control field.
Neil Hickey, located in Chicago, Ill. is joining Grunergy as our mid western representative to enhance our penetration in this area. Neil brings with him a great deal of industrial based knowledge from across both the USA and Canada. Neil G. Hickey is a Registered QMS Lead Auditor (Canada and USA) and an AS9100 Aerospace Auditor (USA) who has been working with organizations that have been implementing and developing quality systems and initiatives for over 15 years. Neil is also an ISO 9000, QS-9000, TS 16949, AS9100, and ISO 14000 auditor, consultant, instructor, author, and program developer.
As part of Neil’s current assignments, Neil currently conducts registration and surveillance audits for the AS91000 and ISO 9000 series of quality management system standards. For the past 10 years, Neil has been on contract with the Quality Management Institute (QMI) a division of the Canadian Standards Organization to conduct registration and surveillance audits for the ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Neil has guided over numerous organizations in being successfully registered to ISO 9000. For ISO 9001:2008 alone, Neil has assisted over 15 organizations in either initially registering or upgrading their existing ISO 9000:1994 registration to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2008.
Neil Hickey is an adjunct professor with Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and was used as a subject matter expert in the development of their online EMBA graduate program. Neil has conducted numerous Train-the-Trainer sessions in preparing potential candidates to deliver seminars on ISO 9000 and quality management. Neil is a guest lecturer in the LFGSM MBA Program and regularly instructs students on quality management system documentation development, implementation, and the registration process of quality management systems. Neil’s program development and implementation initiatives have included training during flight surveillance missions located in offshore Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
