The idea for was created when work colleagues Jamie Ward and Neil Harmsworth travelled home from a customer meeting discussing the difficulties in finding a decent gym that you can just go to on a one-off basis.

Quickly realising this could be a good business idea Jamie & Neil started researching the market and discovered that if they could develop a product that would remove existing barriers such as membership and improve the general visibility & flexibility in the market then the consumer demand would be huge. The timing for market entry was perfect.

The pair then engaged Michael Blake, a web developer and friend, about the possibility of building a platform where the public could buy passes online for redemption at the gym. was born and the team moved into their first offices in Putney in May 2010. was launched in February 2011 and currently has over 130 gyms available and plan to launch in Manchester and Birmingham later in 2011.
