It must be saving us money on cooling as we no longer have the old slow door left open for ‘convenience’ and the chiller unit hours are reduced.
Bristol, UK (PRWEB UK) 17 January 2012
By installing one of HAG’s high speed thermal speed doors to its warehouse store, Butcombe Brewery has created speedier access for its forklift trucks whilst providing a thermal barrier between its air conditioned store and outside environment.
Butcombe Brewery’s Tim Hunter explains: “The new speed door system is working well, is easy to use and it is keeping the warehouse store at a constant lower temperature. It must be saving us money on cooling as we no longer have the old slow door left open for ‘convenience’ and the chiller unit hours are reduced”
The high speed thermal doors consist of a lightweight PVC roller closure that opens and closes rapidly whenever access is required. In this case, the doors are operated by remote control units fitted to each of the forklift trucks meaning that the door is only open for no more than the minimum amount of time.
Physical security to the warehouse is provided by one of HAG’s high security roller shutters which is closed and locked at the end of each day.
Paul Dunne, Managing Director of HAG enthuses that he was delighted to supply a local business of Butcombe’s reputation. “Both of our companies share a passion for the quality of our products and service. It is always rewarding to know that our products are being well used and bringing efficiencies, productivity and security to another business”.
