Edison, NJ (PRWEB) January 19, 2010
Mario Badescu Skin Care, a New York skin care company and operator of a 36-room Manhattan salon, is pitching in to help Haitian refugees. The company has pledged to donate 50 cents for each product purchased from their online store to the American Red Cross in order to help fund relief efforts in Haiti. The company is also encouraging their customers, suppliers, and distributors to make their own donations.
"Our hearts go out to all those affected by the terrible events in Haiti. We are looking forward to helping out with the relief efforts in any way possible," said Joseph Cabasso, Executive Vice President of Mario Badescu Skin Care. "Hopefully by teaming up with our customers, we can help make a difference."
In addition to their monetary pledge, the company has created a page on its website with information about how customers can pitch in to offer further assistance. The page links to the Red Cross and other relief organizations, and offers information about SMS donation services.
