The Bonham, a luxury hotel in Edinburgh is offering a Halloween break to help visitors discover the spooky side of the Scottish capital.

Halloween is traditionally Mercat Tours' busiest season, and this year looks to follow suit, with the Bonham's guests staying on the Chiller Package being shown Edinburgh's South Bridge Vaults, which have been named "possibly the most haunted place in Britain". The vaults were recently featured on Living TVs 'Most Haunted' and appeared on the BBC news in 2005.
Guests will additionally be given a ghost tour of Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile, running from Edinburgh's iconic and imposing Castle atop Castle Rock to Holyrood Abbey, with cobbled streets steeped in history providing the perfect backdrop for the year's spookiest holiday.
The Chiller Break also offers a choice between the Ghosts and Ghouls or the Ghost Hunter Trail packages, both giving guests a sneak into the macabre stories of Edinburgh's history told dramatically by tour guides. Daytime entertainment is provided through The Secrets of The Royal Mile or The Vaults Tour, daytime walks giving an historical overview of Edinburgh's best kept secrets.
