Hampton Golf, the Southeast’s leading golf course management company, has been selected to manage the golf course and club facilities at Eagle Harbor in Fleming Island, Fla. Under the management agreement, Hampton Golf will add approximately 160 new team members to the Hampton Golf Team and will be responsible for the club’s golf, tennis, food and beverage, pool and hospitality needs, including booking tee times and managing the facility’s staff and operations.

“Eagle Harbor is widely known as one of Northeast Florida’s finest courses and we are proud to add this facility to our list of golf course clubs we manage throughout the Southeastern United States,” said MG Orender, president and CEO of Hampton Golf and former president of the PGA of America. Hampton Golf currently manages 18 courses and clubs. “It is our goal to increase usage of the club, promote community events, and create a positive, lasting experience for guests who visit and play at Eagle Harbor.”

Eagle Harbor is one of Jacksonville’s premier residential communities with more than 2,000 homes and world-class amenities including a $2.5 million super pool, tennis facilities, biking and jogging trails and additional family-friendly activities. The community’s golf course and facilities rank among the best in Florida and include an 18-hole championship golf course, a fully stocked pro shop, dining facilities and a staff of PGA professionals.

Eagle Harbor’s golf course was designed by award-winning architect Clyde Johnston and has been considered one of Jacksonville’s finest designs since opening in 1993. The semi-private course was delicately carved from a forest of 60-foot pine trees and provides golfers with a challenging and exciting round of golf. The course features multi-tiered greens, rolling fairways and a variety of sand and grass bunkers. The clubhouse features a state-of-the-art practice facility with a unique island putting green and a full driving range. The course has received a four-star rating by Golf Digest magazine for its unique design and layout.

Eagle Harbor’s golf course is open to residents and limited non-residents. Hampton Golf offers membership packages to Eagle Harbor and its additional facilities throughout the Southeastern United States. Those who purchase a membership at any of Hampton Golf’s facilities have access to reciprocal golf at select Hampton Golf courses at preferred rates. Memberships to Hampton Golf’s facilities also include access to clubhouses, member events, free lessons with its QuickStart2 Golf Program and competitive membership dues.
