In one short year, it has proven to be the little engine that could. We've successfully treated thousands of patients, and the feedback we've received has been tremendous. I'm very proud of Hangover Heaven.

In April 2012, Dr. Jason Burke launched Hangover Heaven off the Strip in Las Vegas, NV. One year later, Hangover Heaven continues to experience growth, appreciation from the media, and strong support from local residents and visitors from throughout the US and abroad. In celebration of its one year anniversary, Hangover Heaven enjoyed a spring makeover.

Launched by veteran anesthesiologist Dr. Jason Burke, Hangover Heaven is the only medical practice dedicated to the prevention and treatment of hangovers. Hangover Heaven made its debut in a 45-foot bus that serves as a fully-equipped mobile treatment facility. The bus was quickly followed by an in-room system that brings hangover treatments to guests in hotel rooms on the Strip.

Hangover Heaven garnered international media attention and rolled onto the Today Show, the Drudge Report, BuzzFeed.com, CNN, 20/20, and recently, MSNBC's Your Business. The public response to media coverage and positive word of mouth forced Dr. Burke to add a traditional brick and mortar clinic to accommodate the overflow of patients from the bus.

"When I launched Hangover Heaven, I knew it had the potential to fill a void in the field of medical service delivery. It has proven to be the little engine that could. We've successfully treated thousands of patients, and the feedback we've received has been tremendous. I'm proud of Hangover Heaven," stated Dr. Burke.

In honor of its one year anniversary, all facets of Hangover Heaven received a tune-up. The bus was outfitted with a new oxygen distribution system which allows oxygen to flow from tubing attached to the seats. The distribution system gives each client the freedom to control the level of oxygen therapy desired. Additional updates to the bus include new incubators, special lighting, and new AC units.

The Hangover Heaven clinic was blessed with a coat of paint, quirky artwork, installation of partitions, furniture, carpet, equipment, and a new registration area.

The in-room service added new features as well, such as extended hours and newly hired staff members, to better accommodate VIP clientele.

"Given the fact we're only a year old, Hangover Heaven is in a good place. We have a highly trained staff, great clients, and wonderful supporters that always let us know how they feel on Facebook and Twitter. I can't wait to see what year two has in store for us," Dr. Burke added.

Images of Hangover Heaven renovations were captured by Austin photographer Ben Garrett.
