This recognition is a testament to the amazing work our team performs every day on behalf of our amazing clients.
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) November 18, 2010
Happy Cog, an internationally acclaimed web design and development firm, today announced that it has been awarded 'Best in Class' by the Interactive Media Awards™ for its work on the VisitPhilly.com and Zappos.com websites. The honor recognizes that the projects met and surpassed the basic standards of excellence that comprise the web's most professional work. VisitPhilly.com was honored for excellence in the Travel/Tourism and Marketing categories, and Zappos.com was honored specifically for excellence in Retail. Zappos.com in particular scored 498 of a possible 500 points, nominating it for a 2010 Top 10 Website of the Year award.
The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win this award level, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area -- an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each quarter.
Gregory Hoy, President of Happy Cog, said, "It's truly an honor to have our work recognized by the Interactive Media Awards. It's even more special when two different projects receive 'Best In Class' awards, and in multiple categories. This recognition is a testament to the amazing work our team performs every day on behalf of our amazing clients."
