Celebrity High Rise Agent Sets Three Las Vegas Price Records as Hollywood's Elite Flock to The Harmon Residences

Las Vegas luxury real estate market continues to show strength as evidenced by celebrity high rise agent setting three new price-per-square-foot records for residential homes and residential high rise condos.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) February 21, 2008 -- For the third time in a row, REALTOR® Aaron Auxier has broken the price-per-square-foot records for both residential homes and residential high-rise condos in the Las Vegas valley. All three records have been verified by multiple sources including Clark County tax records.

The 34-year-old, who has earned the nickname "Hollywood's Connection to Vegas", recently sold several multi-million-dollar penthouses at The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences. The luxury condos, located in CityCenter included sales of $1,500, $2,000 and over $2,400 per square foot. CityCenter is a joint venture between MGM MIRAGE and Dubai World. At a cost of more than $8 billion, CityCenter is the most significant privately financed development in the nation's history.

"My A-List clients have gravitated towards The Harmon as their future private retreat in Las Vegas," says Auxier. "Its ultra-chic nature, along with the fact it will be operated by The Light Group, has the most famous of faces excited."

Previously, the most expensive price per square foot sale for a residential property (single family home or condo) in the Las Vegas valley was just over $1,300 a square foot. That property was a luxury condominium in a high-rise tower just east of The Strip.

"Demand for the residential offerings at CityCenter continues to exceed expectations. In terms of sales, we're proud to have already surpassed the 50 percent mark in one-third the amount of time allocated for the effort," said Bob Hamrick, senior vice president of CityCenter Realty Corporation. "This success is due both to the spectacular residential offerings at CityCenter as well as strong support by our internal and external real estate teams."

Set to open in 2009, The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences will feature 400 hotel rooms and suites, and approximately 207 luxury residential condos including 15 penthouses. The Light Group - one of the nation's leading hospitality, development and management companies - will operate the elite, boutique-style hotel. Its portfolio also includes several food and beverage and entertainment properties at AAA Five-Diamond Bellagio Resort & Casino, The Mirage Hotel & Casino, Monte Carlo Resort & Casino and Treasure Island Hotel & Casino. The Harmon will feature the newest creation of international cultural icon Michael Chow with his first and only MR CHOW restaurant in Las Vegas, a stunning hair salon by world-renowned hair stylist Frédéric Fekkai, a private lobby lounge for residents, other dining offerings, the most elite retail offerings in Las Vegas, a luxurious spa (with in-room services available), pool deck, valet parking and much more.

"Hollywood's elite love The Harmon," says Alan Mruvka, Founder of E! Entertainment Television. "I'm happy to see MGM MIRAGE recognize Aaron as the top-dollar-selling agent."

"Despite the slow national housing market, there is currently more than $30 billion worth of construction happening in the four-mile stretch of The Strip known as the Resort Corridor," says Auxier, who specializes in working with celebrities, CEOs, and professional athletes. "Certain parcels of land have realized up to an 800 percent increase in land valuation since 2004. With an ever increasing appeal to a global audience and $1.5 billion in condo sales at CityCenter in 2007, I feel the press often misunderstands what's happening on the Las Vegas Strip."

Focusing on high-rise condominiums, Aaron Auxier's firm, Luxury Realty Group, consistently receives national media exposure. Having been featured on CNBC and in publications such as Forbes and Fortune, the award-winning brokerage has run straight to the top. Recently, Bruce Hiatt, broker/owner of Luxury Realty Group, won two awards from The Luxury Institute: Highest Dollar Volume of Closed Transactions Priced at $1 Million and Above in North America and Most Closed Transactions of Properties Selling for $1 Million or More in North America.

Over the past year, Auxier has sold nearly $30 million worth of real estate on the Las Vegas Strip.
