We are honored to offer families and friends who have suffered a loss a memorial service where they can share thoughts and feelings in a lovely outdoor setting.
Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) April 28, 2011
Haven HealthCare, a division of Professional HealthCare, and a leading provider of home nursing, rehabilitation therapy, hospice and in-home personal care in the Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Provo regions of Utah, announced that it is co-sponsoring a butterfly release to honor deceased loved ones. The event will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Murray Community Park in Murray, Utah. Several community sponsors include additional hospice care agencies and end-of-life planning services. The public is invited.
The memorial service will include live musical performances and shared stories. Attendees will be invited to write a prayer or thought on a butterfly-shaped paper that is placed into a box next to the butterflies. Dozens of Monarch butterflies will then be released during an inspiring moment of silence and reflection.
“The bereavement process following the loss of a loved one differs for each person,” explains John Griscavage, CEO. “We are honored to offer families and friends who have suffered a loss a memorial service where they can share thoughts and feelings in a lovely outdoor setting.” After the butterflies are released, attendees will be offered refreshments, and will be able to mingle and interact with the other participants in a comforting community to share stories and offer support.
