Building on the success of the Britain's Got talent TV Show, UK holiday park operator Haven has launched a summer competition to find the next generation of entertainers with their annual "Haven's Got Talent" shows that will run throughout the season at 35 family holiday parks around the UK.

One of the finalists of the Britain's Got Talent show, wise cracking teenage comedian Charlie Wernham, originally cut his teeth as a junior comic on a Haven Holiday park talent show at Caister in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Simon Daniels, the Entertainments Producer at Haven said that the holiday company sees many future stars over the course of each summer, and many families specifically visit the parks each year in order to take advantage of the opportunity to show off their skills during a caravan holiday.

Anyone booking their summer holidays at Haven this year will be able to enter the free talent competition, and the lucky winners could find that the shows give them the launch pad for stardom - or at least give the crowds something to enjoy during an evening out.

Although one of the highlights of any summer holiday with Haven is the chance to get up on stage in order to show off your skills, there are plenty of other activities available including professional football coaching and swimming available at the parks in order to ensure that everyone can take part in something during their stay.

Haven are currently offering a range of four night breaks throughout June from as little as £99 for a family of four, and there are also week long self catering holidays at the operator's Craig Tara park in Ayrshire available from £399 available.
