Hawk Performance is pleased to announce that they are now the "Official Brake Product of the Opak Racing-Spoon Sports U.S. Race Team," and that they will proudly be displaying the Spoon Sports Honda Civic Type-R in their booth at the 2008 SEMA Show.
The Opak-Spoon team is expected to capture the 2008 United States Touring Car Championship with their Accord Euro-R, and the team is preparing their Honda Civic Type-R for the venerable 25 Hours of Thunderhill race in Willows, CA on December 6-7. The Spoon NSX-R GT racecar will compete in the Macau Grand Prix, in Macau, China on November 13-16. All vehicles are equipped with Hawk Performance brake pads.

The Spoon Sports Civic Type-R, which will compete at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill race in December, will be on display in the Hawk Performance Booth at the 2008 SEMA Show November 4-7 (Booth 24713, Performance & Racing Hall). Representatives from Hawk Performance will be on hand to discuss the performance street and racing brake pad solutions that they offer, and representatives from the Opak Racing-Spoon Sports team will also be at the show to answer questions about the vehicle and expand on how Hawk Performance has helped this dominant team become even more difficult to beat.
