According to research conducted by the University of New Hampshire (UNH) 18-24 year olds are already beginning to show signs of chronic health issues.
UNH collected data on 800 students. The students were enrolled in an undergraduate program and taking a general nutrition course. At least 1/3 of the students were overweight or obese. Results of the study were presented at the recent Experimental Biology Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
