Head mounted displays (HMD’s) are display systems which help the end user view texts, maps, images, schematics and other information that can be generated by a computer or any other electronic system. The main advantage of these head mounted displays compared to computer systems are that these are portable displays unlike a computer which cannot be carried from one place to the other.
